We use the industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encryption for all transfer of any personal information (address, name, credit card number, etc.). You must have HTML cookies activated for our site to function properly. No personal information is EVER placed in the cookie. At purchase the cookie is deleted and, in any case, it will expire after 5 hours.

Return Policy:

All products returned must be 100 percent complete and contain ALL original manufacturer boxes with the original UPC code, packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. You must ship the merchandise back to us within 5 days of receiving it to be accepted for a refund. The original shipping charges are non-refundable. No merchandise will be accepted without a return authorization number, please call 210-525-9000 for a return authorization number.

Shipping charges on returned items are the customer's responsibility. For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged merchandise.

If you receive damaged merchandise, it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for us to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify us immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. Defective-on-arrival items can be returned directly to us if they are shipped within 2 business days of receipt. At our discretion we will replace, exchange, or repair the item.

All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.

Warranty Information:

All new products sold by The Camera Exchange, Inc. carry the original manufacturer's USA warranty.

Pricing and Availability:

We strive to do our best to keep items on this site always in stock. Please note that some items labeled as "special order" are available only on an order basis. When an item is not available for immediate delivery, we will notify you via e-mail within one business day. In the event that the item was not marked "special order" at the time of purchase but is out of stock and must be ordered we will notify you by email. At this point you may cancel your order with no charge.

Pre-orders:

For new items that are listed on our web site, it is recommended that you place your order as soon as possible as we process orders on a first come first served basis. We will not bill you until the item is ready to be shipped to you.

Un-Shippable Items:

Some of the items on our site are marked un-shippable, for example most photo chemicals, some background paper, etc. cannot be shipped UPS and must be picked up in the store.
