Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens

The NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S is a super-telephoto full-frame prime that a
Phase Fresnel element has shrunk to two-thirds the length of its predecessor and
less than half the weight — under a foot long. That is the whole point of the
lens: 600mm of reach for sports and wildlife that fits in a bag and can be
carried handheld.

Optics

Extra-low dispersion elements and a short-wave refractive element work together
to suppress chromatic aberration, with Nano Crystal Coating reducing flare in
difficult light. The front thread is 95mm and takes standard screw-in filters.

Stabilization

Optical Vibration Reduction gives up to 5.5 stops on any Z series body. On
cameras supporting Synchro VR a further half stop brings the total to 6.

Handling

• Center of gravity shifted rearward to help start and stop handheld panning.
• Two programmable function buttons, a control ring, a Memory Set button and a focus limiter switch.
• Front grip for a stable shooting posture, and a tripod collar that rotates for any orientation.
• Weather sealing against dust, dirt and moisture.
