With a separate controller/power supply from the fixture, the LEDs are able to maintain a cool temperature and can be easily placed overhead, thanks to the controller’s V-mount battery plate.
The daylight-balanced LEDs have superior color reproduction, with CRI and TLCI ratings of 96, and are dimmable from 0 to 100%. Light intensity adjustments can be made locally on the fixture or wirelessly from up to 98 feet away using either the optional RC-A6 2.4 GHz remote control or the Godox app via Bluetooth on your smartphone.
The fixture has a Bowens front accessory mount, which allows you to use Godox modifiers as well as those made by other manufacturers that use this popular mount. The light has a built-in 32-channel, 16-group receiver that accepts wireless commands, making it easy to work with multiple units at once.
