RODE VideoMic Pro+ Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone

The RODE VideoMic Pro+ is a compact camera-mount shotgun microphone designed for on-camera and off-camera audio capture in video production, content creation, and field recording applications. A supercardioid polar pattern focuses pickup on audio from the front of the microphone while rejecting sound from the sides and rear, helping to isolate the intended subject from ambient background noise. The microphone features an integrated Rycote Lyre shock mount that isolates the capsule from handling noise and vibration transmitted through the camera body, and a high-pass filter, high-frequency boost, and variable gain controls allow the audio output to be tailored to different recording environments and camera input sensitivities. Auto power function activates and deactivates the microphone in response to the camera’s power state, and an internal rechargeable battery provides extended operating time with USB charging capability.
