Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens

The Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II is a compact standard zoom lens designed for Canon APS-C DSLRs, covering a focal range equivalent to approximately 29-88mm on a full-frame camera. It is a common kit lens pairing for entry- to mid-level Canon Rebel and EOS series bodies. Autofocus is driven by Canon’s micro motor system, which is functional but slower and less refined than Canon’s USM-equipped lenses, and does not support full-time manual focus override while in AF mode. Optical image stabilization is provided at approximately 4 stops of compensation, which is a practical advantage for handheld shooting in lower light. Optical construction consists of 11 elements in 9 groups. As an EF-S mount lens it is exclusively compatible with Canon APS-C bodies and cannot be used on full-frame Canon EF mount cameras. It is not compatible with Canon RF mount bodies even via adapter.
