The Canon EOS R is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 30.3 megapixel CMOS sensor paired with the DIGIC 8 image processor, delivering high-resolution stills and strong overall image quality. It features Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with extensive frame coverage and a wide range of selectable autofocus points, enabling fast, precise focusing across a variety of shooting situations. The camera records 4K video and offers a vari-angle touchscreen LCD for flexible composition from multiple angles, along with a high-resolution electronic viewfinder for traditional eye-level shooting. A customizable Multi-Function Bar on the rear of the camera allows quick access to frequently used settings. Built around Canon’s RF lens mount, the EOS R is compatible with a growing native lens lineup and can also use EF and EF-S lenses via Canon mount adapters. Its magnesium alloy chassis includes weather sealing for added durability in the field.
