Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM Lens

The Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM is a zoom lens covering the full fisheye focal range, offering circular fisheye imagery at 8mm on full-frame bodies and a full-frame diagonal fisheye field of view at 15mm. The optical design consists of 14 elements in 11 groups, incorporating one super-UD element and one UD element to reduce chromatic aberration and color fringing across the zoom range. The lens delivers up to a 180-degree angle of view depending on focal length and sensor size, making it a versatile option for architectural interiors, creative wide-angle work, action sports, and aerial photography. Autofocus is handled by Canon’s ring-type Ultrasonic Motor system, providing fast and quiet focusing with full-time manual focus override. The lens is built to L-series standards with a fluorine coating on the front and rear elements to resist dust, moisture, and smearing, and features weather sealing at the mount and throughout the barrel. Due to the extreme curvature of the front element, front-mounted filters are not compatible, though a built-in gelatin filter holder is included at the rear of the lens. Compatible with Canon EF-mount full-frame and APS-C bodies, as well as EF-mount mirrorless systems via adapter.
