The amaran Spotlight SE is a high-precision projection lens optical modifier designed to transform Bowens mount point-source LED lights with up to 300W of power into a shapeable, even-beam spotlight. Equipped with the included 36° lens, this projector delivers a wider illumination angle ideal for covering larger background areas, creating crisp pools of light, or projecting detailed patterns across sets. Native to Bowens mount fixtures, it integrates seamlessly with amaran 150c and 300c full-color monolights, as well as point-source lights ranging from the amaran COB 60d S to the Aputure LS 300x.
Engineered for precision light control, the Spotlight SE features four internal metal framing shutters that allow filmmakers and creators to cut and shape the light beam precisely. For creative optical effects, the kit includes a gobo holder and 15 M-sized gobos to project distinct patterns and textures with either sharp or intentionally defocused edges. Built with a durable all-metal housing, the unit supports interchangeable lenses and optional accessories—such as an 18-leaf iris—to further adjust beam sizing on set.
This modifier kit comes packaged in a protective storage case containing the main housing, 36° lens, gobo holder, and 15 M-sized gobos.
Condition Diagnostics & Hardware Notice
Optical Condition Notice: LIGHT PARTICLES INSIDE. Internal lens assembly exhibits minor light dust/particles inside the optic. During testing, these small internal particles do not affect the projected light output or gobo clarity.
Exterior Cosmetic State: EXTERIOR SCUFFING. The outer metal housing shows visible scuffs and surface finish marks from prior handling and rigging use.
Operational Functionality: FULLY FUNCTIONAL. The internal metal framing shutters, lens rotation/focus track, and gobo slot mechanism operate smoothly and hold focus accurately.
