The SmallRig Mini Side Handle with NATO Clamp is an ultracompact, lightweight camera rig handgrip designed to improve handheld balance, enhance stability, and relieve wrist strain during extended shooting sessions. Engineered for mirrorless, DSLR, and compact cinema setups, the handle features a reversible ambidextrous mounting design that allows operators to easily configure it for either left- or right-handed use. The contoured grip features an ergonomic silicone lining to ensure a secure, comfortable hold in any shooting environment.

The handle mounts swiftly onto compatible camera cages using its integrated quick-release NATO clamp. For cages lacking a built-in NATO rail, the kit includes a compact NATO rail that attaches securely using two standard 1/4″-20 screws spaced 0.7 inches apart. A 1.2-inch vertical slide adjustment range enables precise positioning to align with your camera setup’s center of gravity. Constructed from durable, high-strength aluminum alloy, this ultralight grip weighs only 4.8 ounces while safely supporting heavy rig payloads up to 22 pounds. The top surface integrates a 1/4″-20 threaded mounting socket and a cold shoe mount, providing streamlined attachment points for articulating magic arms, compact LED video lights, wireless microphone receivers, or monitors.
