The SmallRig HawkLock H21 Quick Release Top Handle Kit is a high-speed, modular carrying and rigging solution engineered to facilitate comfortable low-angle shooting, rapid top-handle installation, and extensive accessory mounting on camera cages and production rigs. Built with a proprietary HawkLock quick release clamp and notched rail plate with an ARRI-style 3/8″-16 anti-twist thumbscrew, this system delivers rock-solid mounting stability and prevents unwanted rotation or shifting during heavy handheld use.

Designed for fast-paced video workflows, the handle slides smoothly onto the rail plate for side-to-side balancing adjustments, locks securely with a single lever, and releases instantly for compact breakdown and transport. The handle body is equipped with dual standard cold shoe mounts (front and rear) and multiple 1/4″-20 anti-twist threaded locating holes along the shaft for mounting monitors, wireless transmitters, articulating arms, and microphones. In addition, each end of the handle features a HawkLock-style male mount for integrating compatible quick release clamp accessories. Constructed from precision-machined aluminum alloy and stainless steel, this handle kit delivers lightweight durability and ergonomic control. (Note: The HawkLock clamp and rail system utilizes a proprietary notched profile and is not compatible with standard traditional NATO rails).
