AEE S70 Action Camera with Waterproof Housing

The AEE S70 is a rugged HD action camera designed for outdoor sports, adventure, and lifestyle recording, positioned as an alternative to competing action cameras of its era with a notably full accessory bundle and waterproof housing included in the kit. It’s aimed at photographers and videographers who want a wearable, weatherproof camera for activities like diving, cycling, skiing, and other action sports.

At the core of the S70 is a 16MP Sony Exmor R sensor, paired with an A7 processor that supports a range of Full HD recording modes. The camera shoots Full HD 1080p at up to 60fps, along with additional resolution and frame rate combinations for slow-motion capture, and a 170-degree wide viewing angle suited to action and POV-style footage. The S70 also offers 16MP photo capture and 180-degree Auto Image Turnover, which automatically corrects footage orientation if the camera is mounted upside down.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows the camera to be controlled from an Android or iOS mobile device, with footage even editable remotely and changes saved to the card in-camera. The built-in Wi-Fi has a range of up to 328 feet (100m). A G-sensor allows the camera to automatically start and stop recording based on motion or shock detection. Four dedicated front-panel toggle switches give direct access to power, G-sensor, metering mode, and Wi-Fi without needing to enter the menu.

Handling includes a detachable 2-inch LCD screen that can be removed to reduce the camera’s profile or for use inside the housing, along with a larger standard 1500mAh battery than some competing action cameras. Footage is stored on a microSD card supporting up to 64GB. The included waterproof housing rates the camera for underwater use to a significant depth, letting it withstand diving, snow, and other wet or harsh conditions.
