It combines Sirui’s carbon fiber SQ75 twin-leg tripod with a ground spreader and the side-loading, 75mm half-bowl VHS10 fluid video head into a single, cohesive kit.
The SQ75 legs use a durable twin-leg design with 16mm-diameter carbon fiber tubes, giving the system a maximum load capacity of up to 39.7 lb (18kg), well suited to heavier camera systems such as RED cinema cameras or professional ENG setups. Sirui’s patented side flip-lock height adjustment lets photographers open a single lock and extend or retract all leg sections together at once, even with heavy equipment already mounted, offering a working height range of 25.6 to 71.7 inches. A twist-lock adjustable ground spreader adds further stability and precise leg positioning, particularly useful for fixed-position or run-and-gun shooting where quick, reliable setup matters.
The VHS10 fluid head, rated to support up to 22 lb (10kg), features a side-loading quick-release plate with 30mm of travel, allowing gear to be inserted from one side quickly rather than through a traditional top-load method, an arrangement particularly well suited to balancing telephoto lenses. Precise camera movement is controlled through a 7-step counterbalance system that lets the head hold position at virtually any tilt angle, along with a 3-step pan and tilt friction drag for adjustable resistance during smooth, cinematic camera moves. Sirui’s quick-release half-bowl handle allows the head to be securely fastened or removed with just two turns and a press of the knob, notably faster than typical half-bowl handle designs, and the head remains compatible with flat-base setups via the separately available QH-75 handle.
