The Sirui SVM-145 3-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod is a lightweight, versatile support system designed for photographers who need fast, agile stability for daily photography, travel shooting, wildlife work, and vlogging. It’s built around Sirui’s Rapid System one-step height-adjustment technology, letting photographers quickly extend or retract the monopod with a simple twist of the lock to capture fast-moving action without fumbling with multiple leg locks.
The monopod features a modular, three-in-one design, incorporating a quick setup mounting plate, the monopod column itself, and a removable, folding tripod leg base that can be detached and freely recombined. This versatility gives photographers three configurations from one product: a standard monopod with adjustable feet, an extension rod, or a low-angle camera tripod base, adapting to different shooting needs without carrying separate accessories. A single pull-down of the gray locking collar loosens and releases the modular head-mounting adapter plate, allowing rapid, secure insertion of equipment even under load, without needing to search for alignment points.
Constructed from lightweight carbon fiber with a maximum tube diameter of 36mm, the SVM-145 weighs just 3.28 lbs (1.49kg) while supporting a maximum load capacity of 22 lbs (10kg), making it easy to carry and reposition quickly for capturing subjects at the right angle. The monopod adjusts from a working height of 29.5 to 57.1 inches, with a folded height of 29.5 inches (24.8 inches without the tripod base attached), and includes a built-in bubble level to help ensure accurate, level positioning. A unique linkage locking device on the second section of the tube leg helps securely connect the first and third sections for enhanced stability during use, and the twist lock includes a rubber pad for comfortable, ergonomic tightening.
Build quality has been tested through a rigorous 1,000-cycle extension and retraction test, along with extreme temperature testing from -30°C to 70°C and pressure and corrosion resistance testing, reflecting its durability for demanding outdoor and travel conditions. An optional SVM-E extension rod is available separately to add an additional 30cm of height when needed, and the monopod is compatible with third-party heads such as the Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head.
