Yongnuo YN360 Light Wand

The Yongnuo YN360 Light Wand is a handheld LED video light designed for photographers and videographers who want a portable, colorful continuous light source at a fraction of the cost of comparable products like the Westcott Ice Light. It’s described as an industry-first LED video light combining full-color RGB SMD lamps alongside standard color-temperature LED lamp beads in a single fixture, well suited to portrait sessions, product photography, and general videography.

The wand measures approximately 22.95 x 1.88 inches with a slim profile of just 0.94 inches thick, and features a light board equipped with 320 LED lamp beads for standard illumination alongside 40 RGB SMD lamps for full-color output. Two variable color modes are available: Color Temperature Mode allows adjusting the Kelvin temperature from 3200K to 5500K to match ambient light or blend with other fixtures, while RGB Mode produces vivid reds, greens, and blues along with countless combinations of those colors, configurable via a companion smartphone app for both a preset color palette and manual color mixing. Yongnuo’s proprietary LED driving technology and encoder digital dimming mode allow the light to be dimmed accurately and reliably, with a Color Rendering Index of 95% or higher claimed in Color Temperature Mode.

Designed for handheld use, the wand includes control buttons directly on the handle for adjusting color output, with a 1/4″-20 threaded female mount at the base of the handle allowing it to be attached to a light stand for hands-free operation. Power comes from an optional Sony NP-F series battery (NP-F750 recommended, not included) or an optional AC adapter, with runtime rated at approximately 2 hours at maximum brightness in Color Temperature Mode and up to 4 hours in RGB Mode.
