The Godox S30-D Focusing LED 3-Light Kit is a complete, road-ready continuous lighting system built around three Godox S30 focusing LED lights, giving photographers and videographers a versatile, all-in-one solution for studio and on-location work. It’s suited to a wide range of applications, including video lighting, interviewing, headshots, still-life photography, portraiture, and wedding and engagement photography.

Each S30 unit is a 30-watt daylight-balanced (5600K ±150K) focusing LED light, using an integrated Fresnel-style aspheric lens to provide a variable beam angle from a tight 6 degrees for long-throw or “surgical” precision lighting up to a broad 55-degree flood suitable for lighting a large area or filling a silk. Brightness is continuously dimmable from 10 to 100%, and the aspheric optics deliver even light output from center to edge across the entire beam range. Color accuracy is rated at CRI/TLCI of 96 or higher, ensuring natural, true-to-life color reproduction for professional photography and video work.

A standout feature of the kit is the included optical Projection Attachment with an 85mm lens, allowing each S30 to project either a soft, de-focused circle of light or a sharp, focused hard-edge circle, useful for precise, gobo-style effects; additional accessories included in the kit expand this capability further, including an iris diaphragm, a set of framing shutters, a gobo set with holder, and a scrim set. Two 30x30cm softboxes are also included for softer, more diffused lighting, along with a Color Effects (gel) Set and a Color Temperature Adjustment Gel Set for creative color control and matching mixed lighting sources.

Each S30 light supports three power options: the included AC/DC adapter, a Sony NP-F-type lithium-ion battery, or a portable USB power bank, with full 30W output available on AC or dedicated battery power (10W when running from a lithium battery or power bank). The complete kit includes three light stands, barndoors for each fixture, and two carrying bags, one for the light stands and another for the S30 units and accessories, rounding out a fully self-contained three-light setup that supports key, fill, and accent or background lighting arrangements straight out of the box.
