The amaran COB 200x S is an advanced, high-output 200W bi-color point-source LED continuous light engineered for commercial filmmakers, indie videographers, studio portrait photographers, and demanding content creators. Featuring an upgraded dual-blue LED emitter chipset architecture, the “S” series significantly improves spectral continuity and color fidelity over preceding fixtures, delivering exceptional color metrics including an SSI (D56) of 89, an SSI (Tungsten) of 90, a CRI of 95, and a TLCI of 98. Spanning an adjustable color temperature range from 2700K warm tungsten to 6500K crisp daylight, the 200x S guarantees natural skin tone rendition, smooth spectral transitions, and rich color reproduction without requiring corrective filtration.

Equipped with the included 55-degree Hyper Reflector, the light generates an impressive 45,400 lux at 1 meter (at 5600K), delivering the illumination punch needed to serve as a primary key light, illuminate large broadcast spaces, or cut through high ambient light levels. Output can be fine-tuned via stepless 0 to 100% dimming in precise 1% steps using the rear digital control wheel, or remotely adjusted up to 328 feet away via Bluetooth Mesh utilizing the Sidus Link mobile app. Built with an ultra-quiet active cooling fan system, the fixture operates silently on sound-sensitive interview and dialogue sets. With nine built-in cinema lighting FX, an integrated baby pin receiver with an umbrella shaft channel, a worldwide 100-240V AC power adapter, and a standard Bowens S-mount for compatibility with softboxes and lanterns, this compact monolight delivers studio-grade performance in top-tier shape.
