Rent NowThe Promaster 7500DX Digital i-TTL Flash for Nikon DSLRs is a fully dedicated, full-featured on-camera flash designed to work seamlessly with Nikon’s digital SLR system (compatible with all Nikon digital and traditional film SLRs except the D40), giving photographers reliable i-TTL flash exposure along with versatile bounce, swivel, and zoom capability.
The flash offers a guide number of 138 at ISO 100, with a TTL auto exposure range of 2 to 99 feet. A motorized zoom head automatically adjusts coverage across a 24-105mm range to match the attached lens’s focal length, and the head tilts (bounces) from -7 to 90 degrees while swiveling horizontally from 0 to 180 degrees, giving photographers flexible positioning for softer, more directional bounce lighting. A built-in AF-assist illuminator helps the camera focus accurately in low-light conditions.
Exposure control includes full TTL Auto Flash dedication, along with Manual and Multiple (stroboscopic) flash modes, adjustable via a multifunction LCD display panel on the back of the unit. The flash also supports Modeling and Slave/Remote functionality for off-camera triggering setups. Recycle time ranges from 0.3 to 10 seconds depending on battery strength, and front and rear flash-ready lights confirm when the unit is prepared to fire.
Build quality centers on a low-profile design with a metal flash foot intended to provide many years of reliable use. The flash runs on 4 AA batteries (alkaline or ProMaster NiMH rechargeable cells).
