The Bogen/Manfrotto 3021 3-Section Tripod Legs is one of the most versatile and popular tripods in the Manfrotto range, lightweight and portable enough to take into the field while remaining strong enough to support medium format cameras, small view cameras, spotting scopes, and modern digital video cameras.

The tripod uses anodized aluminum construction with 3-section legs (30, 25, and 20mm diameters), extending to a maximum height of 70.1 inches with the center column raised, or 53.2 inches with the column retracted, down to a minimum height of 3.2 inches. It folds to a closed length of approximately 24.1 inches and weighs approximately 5.1 lbs, giving it a practical balance of portability and stability.

A uniquely shaped, 3-faceted aluminum reversible center column eliminates column rotation and allows for 90-degree mounting of the camera, letting photographers shoot straight down unobstructed. A low-angle adapter is built directly into the center column for ground-level shots, and four leg-angle settings give photographers flexibility to position the tripod on uneven terrain or at varying heights. Rapid-action lever leg locks, requiring just 45 degrees of movement, allow for quick extension and retraction of each leg section.
