The versatile Backlight Stand with Folding Base achieves a working height of just 5.5 inches when mounting the included double-sided stud directly to the folding base. Alternatively, place the extendable column into the folding base for a mid-level height range of 21.5″ to 34″. The stand is suitable for holding a ringlight or vlogging equipment on or next to a tabletop, and can also facilitate low light placement for illuminating backgrounds, providing unique lighting angles, or lighting a subject from underneath or behind.
A variety of other grip equipment can connect directly to the base’s 5/8″ baby receiver. Both the stud and the column are double-sided and reversible, with a 5/8-inch stud with 1/4″-20 threads on one side and a 5/8-inch stud with 3/8″-16 threads on the other.
