As its name implies, the BlackRapid Metro Camera Sling is your ideal companion for urban adventures, allowing you to travel light and react instantly to photo opportunities.
Designed for right-handed shooters, this sling is worn cross-body on your left shoulder, letting your DSLR or mirrorless camera with an attached lens rest securely, lens down, on your hip. This ensures you can quickly raise your camera to shooting position. Front and rear cam locks allow you to precisely limit camera swing or excessive movement. The sling features a comfortable, contoured, padded nylon shoulder pad with an adjustable length of up to 63 inches. Should you need more reach, the Metro is compatible with the optional BlackRapid Bert extender, adding another 15 inches.
Secure Connection and Protection
To attach the Metro to your camera or lens, it comes with a durable CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. An included BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe creates a secure connection point by screwing into your camera or lens’s 1/4″-20 tripod mount. The FR-5 FastenR Breathe features a large, integrated D-ring for easy use with BlackRapid straps that utilize the CR-3 ConnectR. Finally, a LockStar protector is placed over the carabiner, safeguarding your camera or lens from scratches and scrapes.
