FUJIFILM XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II Lens

The XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II is the second generation of FUJIFILM’s
professional standard zoom for APS-C X-Mount bodies, covering a 24-84mm
full-frame equivalent range at a constant f/2.8. Against the original, it
resolves more detail for the 40MP sensors and does so in a smaller, lighter
barrel.

Optics

Three extra-low dispersion elements and one Super ED element hold down
chromatic aberration and color fringing, while four aspherical elements control
distortion and spherical aberration across the zoom range. A fluorine coating on
the front element repels water, oil and fingerprints.

Autofocus and handling

• Linear Motor autofocus — smooth and near-silent, with less focus wobble and subject hunting during video takes.
• De-clickable aperture ring — silent aperture changes while recording.
• 11-blade rounded diaphragm — round out-of-focus highlights.

Weather resistance

Extensively sealed against dust and moisture, and rated for use down to
14°F (-10°C).
