The kit centers around a CNC-machined aluminum sliding rail featuring laser-etched scale markings that adjust from 5 cm to 45 cm, allowing precise, repeatable framing distances between macro lenses and the film carrier. Illumination is provided by a daylight-balanced 5600K USB LED backlight delivering cinema-grade color fidelity (CRI 97 / TLCI 98) across 11 brightness levels. The system includes two magnetic film holders—one dedicated 35mm carrier (fits 6 exposures) and one 120 medium format carrier (fits 6×4.5, 6×6, 6×7, 6×8, or 6×9 formats)—both engineered with transparent backing to hold film flat without fragile mechanical tabs.
