Both the cage and the kit feature precision cutouts, ensuring that your camera’s tiltable EVF, buttons, and ports remain fully accessible at all times.

The detachable top plate (included in the kit, and compatible with the standalone cage) boasts a NATO rail, designed to accommodate Sony’s XLR top handle or SmallRig’s rotating top handle (ID 4152) without interfering with the EVF. The cage itself integrates a wealth of mounting points, including:

1/4″-20 threaded holes
3/8″-16 ARRI locating holes
A “HawkLock” NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483).
A convenient cold shoe mount allows for attaching accessories such as the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. For quick assembly and disassembly, a magnetic Allen wrench is cleverly integrated into the base.

Seamless Workflow Transitions
The bottom quick-release plate, when paired with the “HawkLock” H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), enables rapid, auto-locking slide-in attachment. This Arca-Swiss compatibility ensures seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups, working perfectly with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers. An included HDMI cable clamp also secures your cable for stable data transmission.
