The SmallRig HawkLock H21 Quick Release Side Handle is an ergonomic, versatile camera rig handgrip engineered to improve handheld stability, balance, and control across mirrorless, DSLR, and compact cinema setups. Designed for fast, tool-free rigging, the handle attaches quickly to either the left or right side of a camera cage using its integrated HawkLock quick release NATO rail clamp paired with the included HawkLock NATO rail, which secures to any standard cage via integrated 1/4″-20 mounting screws.

To accommodate different camera bodies, cage dimensions, and rig balance points, the handle features a 1.4-inch vertical slide adjustment range, allowing operators to fine-tune the hand placement relative to the camera’s center of gravity. Constructed from durable CNC-machined aluminum alloy and composite materials, the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip for long shooting days. The top of the grip integrates multiple 1/4″-20 threaded accessory holes and a dedicated cold shoe mount, providing streamlined attachment points for compact on-camera LED fill lights, wireless microphone receivers, articulating magic arms, or field monitors.
