TASCAM DR-10L Pro Field Recorder and Lavalier Microphone

The DR-10L Pro is a lavalier recorder small enough to hide under clothing — 65
grams, palm-sized, with a belt clip — which is what makes it the tool for
weddings, interviews and documentary work where a visible mic isn’t wanted. It
records 32-bit float by default using dual A/D converters, so the dynamic range is
wide enough that you don’t set input gain and can’t clip a take. Two AAA lithium
batteries give up to 24.5 hours, and audio is written to card roughly every 20
seconds, so a power interruption costs seconds rather than the session.
