Rent NowThe Canon BG-E14 Battery Grip is designed for the Canon EOS 70D, 80D, and 90D DSLR cameras, providing extended shooting time and improved handling for both horizontal and vertical photography. Its ergonomic design adds a larger gripping surface to the camera, making it particularly useful during longer shooting sessions or when working with larger lenses.
The grip accommodates up to two Canon LP-E6 series lithium-ion battery packs, allowing photographers to extend their camera’s operating time without frequently changing batteries. It can also be used with six AA batteries, providing an alternative power option when standard camera batteries are unavailable.
For vertical shooting, the BG-E14 incorporates a secondary shutter release along with several commonly used camera controls. These include a main dial, multi-controller, AF point selection button, AE/FE lock button, AF start button, and multi-function button. This control layout provides more natural handling when shooting portraits or other vertically oriented compositions.
The BG-E14 attaches directly to the camera’s battery compartment and integrates with the camera body for a secure, comfortable fit. It is a practical accessory for event, portrait, sports, and other photographers who benefit from additional battery capacity and improved vertical shooting controls.
