The Canon EOS 70D is a mid-range DSLR camera body built around a 20.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor paired with Canon’s DIGIC 5+ image processor, delivering solid image quality and responsive performance for enthusiast photographers. The camera introduced Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF system, providing fast and smooth autofocus during Live View and video recording alongside a 19-point all cross-type AF system for viewfinder shooting. Continuous shooting is available at up to 7 frames per second, and Full HD 1080p video recording with manual exposure control is supported alongside the Dual Pixel AF system. A fully articulating touchscreen LCD provides flexibility for shooting from varied angles.
