The Manfrotto 458B NeoTec Pro Photo Aluminum Tripod is a fast, professional-grade tripod built around Manfrotto’s innovative NeoTec rapid opening and closing mechanism, letting photographers extend each leg simply by pulling down on it, with no screws, knobs, or levers to tighten. The tripod uses 3 round leg sections (22, 25, and 28mm tube diameters), with four preset independent leg angles (25°, 43°, 73°, and 90°) for solid footing across a range of heights and terrain. A lockable, mobile spreader-to-column junction ring, a Manfrotto world-first, lets the legs be positioned at various angles to increase stability or reduce footprint as needed. An “upside-down” leg construction helps keep mud and debris from working its way into the tripod, and the bottom leg section is sealed to be waterproof up to 18 inches.
