Optical Condition (Fungus Present): SOLD AS-IS. Inspection reveals noticeable internal glass fungus. Depending on the intensity and placement of the light source, this optical blooming may induce increased softening, a dreamy character, lower contrast, or flare when shooting directly into bright backlighting.
Mechanical Condition (Still Works): Despite the fungus, the lens remains fully functional mechanically. The manual focus ring turns smoothly across the entire distance scale, the aperture ring clicks cleanly into place, and the internal iris blades are dry, snappy, and entirely free of oil. It is fully usable as a budget experiment, an artsy “lo-fi” character optic, or a project lens for cleaning and restoration.
