Equipped with Nikon’s optical Vibration Reduction (VR) system, the lens provides up to 3 stops of camera shake compensation to facilitate sharp handheld shooting at slower shutter speeds and extended focal lengths. The optical formula features two Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements and two aspherical lens elements to effectively suppress chromatic aberrations, color fringing, and spherical distortion for enhanced clarity and contrast.
