The Phottix Raja Deep Parabolic Softbox with Grid is a 32-inch deep parabolic light modifier designed for use with compatible studio flash and strobe systems. The deep parabolic shape produces a more specular and directional light quality compared to a conventional flat-faced softbox, with a brighter, more defined catchlight and a light that transitions from highlight to shadow more quickly — characteristics associated with the distinctive look of parabolic modifiers in portrait and fashion photography. The included honeycomb grid further controls light spill and directionality, concentrating the output and preventing light from spreading beyond the intended subject area. An inner and outer diffusion baffle work together to soften and even out the light distribution across the panel when the grid is not in use, and the deep profile of the modifier contributes to the quality and directionality of the output. Compatible with Bowens-mount and other supported strobe systems via the included speedring.
