The Rode VideoMic GO Kit combines the lightweight VideoMic GO camera-mount shotgun microphone with the dedicated DeadCat GO furry windshield, offering a complete audio solution for indoor and outdoor video production. Designed for quick, hassle-free operation with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and compact camcorders, the VideoMic GO runs entirely on plug-in power supplied through your camera’s 3.5mm mic input—eliminating the need for internal batteries or complex switch configurations.

Featuring a tight directional pickup pattern, the microphone isolates subject audio directly in front of the capsule while suppressing ambient background noise. An integrated Rycote Lyre shockmount isolates the mic body from handling vibrations, lens motor noise, and physical bumps. When shooting outdoors, the included DeadCat GO furry windshield fits snugly over the microphone’s foam windscreen to minimize wind noise and air turbulence while maintaining full acoustic transparency.
