SKB iSeries 1711-6 Case with Think Tank Photo Dividers & Lid Foam (Black)

The SKB iSeries 1711-6 Case with Think Tank Photo Dividers & Lid Foam (Black) is a rugged, watertight hard case designed to store, transport, and protect two cameras, up to six lenses, and related accessories. It’s well suited to photographers and videographers who need airline-tough protection for valuable gear while traveling or working on location.

The case features a watertight, dustproof injection-molded polypropylene outer shell, along with two patented trigger latches and two metal-reinforced locking loops that accept a padlock (not included) for added security. An automatic ambient pressure equalization valve helps prevent the case from becoming difficult to open after changes in altitude or temperature, and an oversized top handle aids carrying.

Inside, a removable padded insert designed in partnership with Think Tank Photo uses a Nylex-wrapped, closed-cell foam liner along with touch-fastening (hook-and-loop) dividers, including two dividers with a 90-degree body bend and ten standard dividers, allowing photographers to configure a custom-fit layout around their specific combination of camera bodies and lenses. A high-contrast gray interior fabric improves gear visibility in low light, and convoluted foam is built into the lid for additional cushioning; the case can also be used without the insert and lid organizer if a fully open interior is preferred.

Build quality is rated resistant to impact, corrosion, and UV exposure, consistent with SKB’s iSeries line of professional transport cases. The case measures approximately 18.3 x 13.8 x 6.8 in. (46.5 x 35.1 x 17.3cm) externally, with interior dimensions of approximately 17 x 11.5 x 6 in. (43.2 x 29.2 x 15.2cm), and weighs approximately 7 lb (3.2kg).
