The Sony a7CR is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 61-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR image processing engine, combining the high-resolution imaging capability of the a7R series with the compact body form factor of the standard a7C lineup. The high pixel count makes it particularly well suited to landscape, studio, and commercial photography applications where maximum resolution and fine detail capture are priorities. A 693-point phase-detection autofocus system covers approximately 93 percent of the frame, with AI-based subject recognition extending to humans, animals, birds, and vehicles. Five-axis in-body optical image stabilization provides up to 7 stops of compensation when used with compatible lenses, and video capabilities extend to 4K recording with support for S-Log3 and S-Cinetone color profiles. A fully articulating rear touchscreen and electronic viewfinder offer flexible monitoring options in the compact body form factor.
