The Sony ZV-E1 is an ultra-compact full-frame interchangeable-lens camera designed for content creators, vloggers, and solo filmmakers seeking cinema-grade video quality in a mobile form factor. Combining the 12.1MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR processor from the a7S III with a dedicated AI processing unit, the ZV-E1 delivers over 15 stops of dynamic range, ISO performance up to 409,600, S-Cinetone color rendering, and internal 4K 120p / FHD 240p recording at 10-bit 4:2:2 in All-Intra formats.
Engineered for seamless solo operation, the camera features 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization with Dynamic Active Mode, AI-based Auto Framing, real-time subject recognition AF, and a side-opening vari-angle touchscreen LCD. Additional creation tools include Cinematic Vlog settings, S-Log3 and custom LUT support, digital Clear Image Zoom, direct USB-C webcam/streaming capability up to 4K30, and an internal directional 3-capsule microphone.
