The Westcott Rapid Box Switch Octa-S is a 26-inch octagonal softbox designed for use with compatible Westcott Switch and other studio flash and strobe systems, producing a compact and portable octagonal light source well suited to portrait, beauty, and on-location photography. The octagonal shape produces a distinctive rounded catchlight and a light quality that transitions naturally from highlight to shadow, and the compact 26-inch diameter keeps the overall modifier portable and manageable for location and travel use where a larger modifier would be impractical. An inner and outer diffusion baffle work together to soften and even out the light distribution across the panel, and the Rapid Box quick-setup design allows the softbox to be assembled and broken down rapidly without tools for efficient studio and location workflow. The Switch mount system provides compatibility with a range of Westcott Switch and compatible flash heads.
