Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Here’s what you need to know about returns and exchanges.
 
General Policy
Most new items can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of the purchase date with the original receipt. If the item isn’t defective, a restocking fee may apply.
 
Non-Returnable Items
Due to their sensitive nature, the following items are final sale:
  • Film, chemistry, and photo paper
  • Batteries and bulbs
  • Printers and ink
  • Microphones
  • Special Order items
  • Clearance and As-Is items
Condition of Returned Items
All returned items must be in new, factory-fresh condition. This means the product and all original packaging—including boxes, cables, manuals, and accessories—must be undamaged and free from any markings or tape. Please do not fill out or mail in any warranty cards until you’ve decided to keep your item.
If an item is returned with missing parts or isn’t in new condition, we reserve the right to either refuse the return or charge a minimum 15% restocking fee, plus the cost of any missing items.
 
Defective Items
If a new item is defective, you must exchange it within 15 days for the exact same product to have the restocking fee waived. After 15 days, any defective products must be sent to the manufacturer for warranty repair.
 
Used Equipment
Used equipment is covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase. You can return used items for a refund or exchange within 15 days. If a used item is returned as defective, it will be inspected. Any damage not present at the time of sale will be repaired at the current repair rate. Items marked as “As-Is” are not returnable.
 
How to Return an Online Order
  1. Request a Return Authorization: You must contact us for pre-authorization before sending an item back.
  2. Wait for a Shipping Label: Do not create your own shipping label. We will send you a pre-paid return shipping label with tracking and insurance. The cost of this label will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we shipped the wrong item).
  3. Pack the Item Securely: Place the original product box inside a separate shipping box with at least two inches of padding on all sides. Do not write on or deface the original manufacturer’s packaging. Include a copy of your invoice inside the box.
Refunds
  • Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any shipping and handling fees or restocking fees.
  • If your original order included free shipping, we will deduct the actual shipping cost from your refund.
  • For cash purchases over $50, the refund will be issued by check.
Holiday Return Policy
For added peace of mind, any products purchased from our Fall Expo through Christmas Eve are eligible for an extended return period until January 2 of the following year.
