Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens

Covering a versatile wide-angle range, the Canon EF-S 10–22mm f/3.5–4.5 USM is designed for APS-C EF-S mount DSLRs and delivers an effective 16–35.2mm equivalent focal length. This makes it a strong choice for landscapes, architecture, interiors, and creative wide-angle work across a variety of shooting situations.

Its optical design includes one Super Ultra-Low Dispersion (Super-UD) element and three aspherical elements, which work together to reduce chromatic aberrations, spherical aberrations, and distortion for improved sharpness, clarity, and accurate color rendering. A Super Spectra coating is applied to individual elements to minimize flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color fidelity in challenging lighting conditions.

For focusing performance, the lens uses a ring-type Ultrasonic Motor (USM) paired with an internal focusing system to deliver fast, quiet, and precise autofocus. Full-time manual focus override is also available, allowing fine adjustments without switching modes. The internal focusing design keeps the lens length consistent during operation and helps maintain quicker response times.

A rounded six-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth background blur, supporting selective focus techniques and more natural-looking out-of-focus areas.
