The Viltrox DC-X2 is a compact 6-inch touchscreen field monitor designed for on-camera and on-rig use in photography and video production. The HD touchscreen panel provides a larger and more detailed framing and focus reference than a camera’s built-in rear screen, and the touchscreen interface allows direct interaction with the monitor’s settings and features. A range of monitoring tools assist with achieving accurate exposure and focus during shooting, including focus peaking, false color, histogram, waveform, and zoom functions. The monitor accepts HDMI input for connection to a broad range of cameras, and a sun hood attachment reduces ambient light interference on the screen surface for improved visibility in bright outdoor conditions. Multiple mounting options allow it to be positioned on a camera cold shoe or standard mounting hardware within a cage or rig setup.
