The Nikon MB-D17 is a first-party multi power battery pack designed specifically for the Nikon D500 DSLR camera body. It attaches to the base of the camera via the battery compartment, providing an extended vertical shooting grip with a duplicate set of key shooting controls including a shutter release, main and sub command dials, and AF-ON button oriented for comfortable portrait orientation shooting without awkward hand positioning. This listing is configured specifically for use with the EN-EL18 series battery, which when used with the BL-5 battery chamber cover unlocks the D500’s maximum continuous shooting rate of 10fps. Note that the EN-EL18 battery and BL-5 battery chamber cover are not included and must be sourced separately.
