The Sony FX30 is a compact digital cinema camera built around a 26-megapixel APS-C/Super 35mm CMOS sensor, designed for content creators and filmmakers working within Sony’s Cinema Line. It supports internal 4K recording up to 120fps in Super 35mm mode, with 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth and support for S-Log3 and S-Cinetone color profiles for flexible color grading in post-production. The camera features Sony’s fast hybrid autofocus system with real-time tracking and eye autofocus for both humans and animals, helping maintain focus on moving subjects. A built-in cooling fan supports extended recording times without overheating, and the body includes a full-size HDMI port along with XLR/TRS audio inputs via an included handle unit.
