The Sony FX3 is a compact full-frame cinema camera engineered for solo operators, run-and-gun documentary filmmakers, and high-end video productions. Merging Sony’s Cinema Line color science with Alpha mirrorless imaging technology, the FX3 features a 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor (10.2MP effective for video) paired with the BIONZ XR processing engine. It captures UHD 4K at up to 120p and Full HD 1080p at up to 240p with 10-bit 4:2:2 internal All-Intra recording, alongside 16-bit raw video output over full-size HDMI.

Designed with an integrated cage-free threaded mounting system and an internal active cooling fan for uninterrupted recording up to 4K60, the camera delivers over 15 stops of dynamic range, expandable ISO up to 409,600, S-Cinetone color profiles, Cine EI / user LUT workflows, and S-Log3 gamma support. Focusing is powered by a 627-point Fast Hybrid AF system with real-time AI subject and eye tracking. The ergonomic body incorporates 5-axis sensor-shift in-body image stabilization (IBIS), multi-angle tally lamps, dual CFexpress Type A / SDXC media card slots, and a side-opening 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD.

Included Accessories & Missing Components: INCLUDES RECHARGEABLE BATTERY (NO XLR HANDLE / NO SHOE COVER). Supplied with one Sony NP-FZ100 rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The top detachable XLR audio handle unit and hot shoe cover are NOT included.

Physical & Impact Damage: HEAVY-USED / IMPACT DAMAGE PRESENT. The camera was dropped while a lens was mounted. The magnesium-alloy chassis, corners, baseplate, 1/4″-20 mounting threads, and perimeter show heavy cosmetic scuffs, scratches, and rub marks throughout. The rear 3.0-inch LCD screen glass exhibits light scratches.

Sensor & Optical Condition: DIRTY SENSOR. The low-pass filter / full-frame image sensor surface has visible dust, spots, and debris and requires professional sensor cleaning.

Mechanical & Electronic Status: FULLY FUNCTIONAL WITH WEAR NOTES. Despite the previous drop, heavy external wear, and dirty sensor, the 12.1MP sensor readout, BIONZ XR processor, internal cooling fan, IBIS assembly, 627-point AF system, dual card slots, full-size HDMI output, audio/USB-C interfaces, buttons, dials, and vari-angle LCD monitor operate properly.
