The Atomos Ninja V is a highly versatile, industry-standard 5-inch on-camera monitor and recorder engineered to bypass internal camera limitations and elevate professional video production workflows. Enclosed in a rugged, lightweight aluminum chassis, the Ninja V features a stunning 10-bit IPS display illuminated by a daylight-viewable 1000 cd/m² backlight. It supports direct sensor-to-screen monitoring with AtomHDR technology for up to 10+ stops of dynamic range. Capable of recording up to DCI 4K60 video directly over HDMI into edit-ready Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, or Avid DNxHR formats, this on-camera workhorse streamlines field workflows for DSLR and mirrorless cinema systems. Please note: This unit is in good condition and is supplied as a standalone monitor without a battery or charger.

DCI 4K60 Recording Over HDMI: Captures uncompressed, broadcast-quality DCI or UHD 4K video at up to 60 fps directly from the camera sensor, bypassing internal long-GOP compression. Records files as 10-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR to high-speed 2.5″ SSDs or compact AtomX SSDmini media.

Apple ProRes RAW Integration: Enables pro-tier ProRes RAW capture up to 4K60 with an expansive list of compatible mirrorless systems (such as the Sony a7R V via firmware 10.84.1, Nikon Z6/Z7, and Canon bodies), retaining absolute sensor data for expert color grading.

1000 cd/m² Daylight-Viewable Screen: Features a highly responsive 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display boasting 1000 nits of brightness. This high-luminance panel ensures clear, glare-free image monitoring in direct sunlight without requiring a sun hood.

AtomHDR & Multi-Log Management: Replicates more than 10 stops of dynamic range in real time. Natively supports custom 3D LUTs and industry-standard log gamma pipelines from ARRI, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, RED, Sony, and Z CAM.

Advanced Monitoring Toolsets: Equipped with an extensive suite of software analysis tools accessible via the AtomOS touchscreen interface, including waveform, vector scope, focus peaking, false color, framing guides, and multi-ratio anamorphic de-squeeze (2x, 1.5x, 1.33x).

Modular Versatility & Atomos Cloud: Features a rear expansion port compatible with optional AtomX modules. Adding the Atomos CONNECT module enables high-speed live streaming, 12G-SDI cross-conversion, wireless AirGlu timecode synchronization, and Frame.io Camera to Cloud (C2C) proxy sharing. Alternatively, the AtomX CAST module converts the device into a 4-input multi-cam HD switcher.

Wireless AtomRemote Control: Supports full external control up to 49 feet away via Bluetooth LE using the iOS/macOS AtomRemote application, allowing users to toggle recording, apply LUTs, and view exposure tools remotely.

Cosmetic & Operational State: Good overall condition. The chassis and screen show normal signs of light handling from field use. The touchscreen response is fast, the HDMI input/output ports retain tight connections, and all internal recording firmware operations run flawlessly.

Notes: This item is being sold as a standalone monitor/recorder body only. A Sony L-series (NP-F) battery, AC power adapter, and battery charger are NOT included. You will need to supply your own compatible L-series power source or DC dummy battery to power the unit.
