Optically, individual elements feature Canon’s Super Spectra coating to minimize internal reflections, lens flare, and ghosting, maintaining color accuracy and contrast in bright conditions. Focusing is driven by a DC micro motor paired with an electromagnetic diaphragm to ensure quick autofocus performance during rapid continuous shooting. A 7-blade diaphragm delivers smooth, natural background blur.

Optical Condition: FUNGUS ON REAR ELEMENT. Fungal growth is present inside the rear optical element, covering approximately half of the glass surface.

Image Performance Impact: NO IMMEDIATE EFFECT ON PHOTOS. Despite the presence of internal fungus, current test shots indicate normal image output; however, high-contrast or backlit conditions may show reduced clarity or softness over time.

Physical Condition: OXIDIZED RUBBER GRIP & WELL USED. The rubber zoom/focus rings show typical white oxidation/bloom, and the outer barrel displays visible cosmetic wear from extended use.

Mechanical & AF Status: FULLY FUNCTIONAL. The DC autofocus motor, manual focus movement, zoom mechanism, and aperture linkage operate as intended.
