The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 is an early Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera body that introduced full-time manual exposure control and High-Definition video recording to interchangeable lens digital cameras. Built around a 12.1-megapixel multi-aspect Live MOS sensor (featuring a 14.0MP total area to maintain focal length across 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9 ratios) paired with a dual-CPU Venus Engine HD processor, the GH1 delivers low-noise image processing and full-time Live View operation. It records Full HD 1080p video at 24 fps or 720p at 60 fps in AVCHD format with continuous contrast-detection autofocus, manual P/A/S/M movie controls, and Dolby Digital Stereo audio capture.

Electronic Viewfinder Status: NON-FUNCTIONING EVF EYE SENSOR. The automatic proximity sensor for switching between the rear LCD screen and the electronic viewfinder is defective; manual display toggling or sole reliance on the rear LCD screen is required.

Shutter & Drive System: BURST RATE MISSFIRES. High-speed continuous burst shooting exhibits shutter misfires and inconsistent frame cycling. Single-shot drive mode remains operational.

Housing & Mechanical Mechanics: STICKING BATTERY DOOR. The bottom battery compartment door mechanism occasionally sticks shut and requires manual assistance to release.
