TASCAM DR-07X 2-Input / 2-Track Portable Audio Recorder w/Onboard Adjustable Mic

The DR-07X is a handheld stereo recorder with onboard unidirectional condenser
microphones, so it works out of the box without external mics. The capsules pivot
between an A-B position for a wide stereo image and an X-Y position for tighter
imaging with less phase discrepancy — the main reason to choose it over a
fixed-capsule recorder. It handles sources up to 125 dB.

Inputs and outputs

• 3.5mm mic/line input accepting lavaliers and line-level sources, with plug-in power; it overrides the internal mics when connected.
• 3.5mm line/headphone output for monitoring or feeding a camera.
• USB microphone and 2-in/2-out audio interface modes for a computer or iOS device, plus card reader mode for transfers.

• Automatic level control, limiter, peak reduction and a low-cut filter.
