The SmallRig Ultralight Top Handle with Cold Shoe Mount is a compact, high-strength carrying and stabilization grip designed for mirrorless, DSLR, and cinema camera cages equipped with a standard hot shoe or cold shoe receiver. Engineered to streamline low-angle tracking shots, smooth camera handling, and easy rig transport, the handle attaches quickly via its integrated bottom shoe adapter and secures tightly using its integrated thumbscrew locking mechanism.
Constructed from rugged CNC-machined aluminum alloy, the handle weighs just 4.0 ounces (113 g) while supporting heavy camera packages and accessory configurations up to 22 pounds. The grip section features an ergonomic anti-slip, anti-freeze lining to provide a secure and comfortable hold during extended handheld operation and in cold shooting conditions. For expanded rig expansion, the handle includes dual cold shoe mounts (front and rear) for mounting shotgun microphones, wireless audio receivers, or compact LED video lights, as well as a front-facing 3/8″-16 ARRI-style anti-twist locating thread for attaching articulating magic arms or monitor mounts.
