The SmallRig Wooden Side Handle with 1/4″-20 Screws is an ergonomic, premium handheld stabilization grip designed to enhance comfort, control, and balance across mirrorless, DSLR, and compact cinema camera cages. Crafted with a contoured, smooth rosewood grip and a sturdy CNC-machined aluminum alloy mounting bracket, this handle provides a warm, natural hold that minimizes hand fatigue during extended handheld shooting sessions.

The handle attaches securely to the side of compatible camera cages using two 1/4″-20 thumbscrews spaced 0.7 inches apart to prevent unwanted twisting. Featuring an ambidextrous reversible design, it can be easily configured for either left- or right-handed operation. The integrated slide mechanism provides a 1.4-inch vertical height adjustment range to align with your camera’s center of gravity and ensure optimal handling balance. A built-in Allen wrench is integrated directly into the handle for quick, tool-free field adjustments. For rigging flexibility, the aluminum top section incorporates 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded mounting sockets along with a dedicated cold shoe mount for attaching articulating magic arms, compact LED video lights, wireless microphone receivers, or monitors.
