Optical State (Rear Element Haze): There is visible haze layered across the inside of the rear glass element. In standard bench tests under typical lighting conditions, this haze does not affect photos or noticeably degrade image quality. However, it may cause a slight loss in contrast or minimal light blooming if shooting directly into bright, harsh backlighting.

Mechanical Status (Loose Rubber Grip): The textured rubber zoom grip ring has become slightly loose and may spin or slip on the barrel when rotating the zoom mechanism. While the internal mechanical zoom still turns and changes focal lengths properly, the outer rubber sleeve requires a bit of manual grip adjustment.

Electronic & Focus Performance: Fully functional. The autofocus system initializes quickly, locks onto targets accurately, and the internal electronic aperture communication functions flawlessly with the camera body.
