Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM Lens

The Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM is a full-frame macro prime lens built natively for Canon’s RF mount mirrorless system and positioned within Canon’s L-series lineup. It achieves a maximum magnification of 1.4x, exceeding the 1:1 reproduction ratio of conventional macro lenses and allowing subjects to be captured at greater than life-size on the sensor. At 100mm with an f/2.8 maximum aperture, it also functions as a capable portrait and general telephoto prime beyond its macro applications. The Hybrid Image Stabilizer system provides up to 8 stops of compensation when used in conjunction with compatible RF bodies, making handheld macro shooting more practical than with conventional stabilization systems. A ring-type USM motor delivers fast, quiet, and precise autofocus performance, and SA control allows spherical aberration to be adjusted directly on the lens for creative bokeh rendering effects.
